So, here\u2019s an easy to cook double marination recipe for a spicy serving masala fish fry!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h5><strong>Marinade (first):<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ginger garlic paste (1tbsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lemon Juice (As per taste)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salt (As per taste)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Turmeric powder (\u00bc tsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Garam masala (\u00be tsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coriander powder (\u00bd tsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Red chilli powder (\u00bd tsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Marinade (Second):<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rice flour (1 \u00bd tbsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Besan or gram flour (1 \u00bd tbsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salt (As per taste)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Red chilli powder (\u00bc to \u00bd tsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A few curry leaves\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>General Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fish filets (\u00bd kg)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Oil (about 2 tbsp)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h5><strong>Marination<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In marination, bowl add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, Garam masala and lemon juice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mix well to create a thick paste (Be sure to give the marinade a taste to check if there&#8217;s enough salt and lemon)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adequately rinse the filets of fish and make thin slits on them<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Apply this marinade paste to the fish filets in an equal manner (Add a tsp of water to better apply the marination if needed). Once done, set the fish aside.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a separate vessel, add the rice flour, besan, curry leaves, red chilli powder and salt and mix well (be sure to taste this marinade to adjust the amount of salt as per taste)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coat the fish in this flour mixture (2nd marinade) by placing them into this mixture. Make sure the fish is well coated on all sides.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Set the fish aside till the dry flour mixture that coats the fish becomes moist. This will help the marinade stick well to the fish.
