They\u2019re stiff enough to hold their shape while cooking, yet soft enough to enjoy sliced up with the filling, for a self-contained complete meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This recipe is also constantly customizable to fit a variety of diets and preferences, so have fun with it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><b>Ingredients<\/b><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">6 large bell peppers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">350 grams hot Italian turkey sausage links, removed from casings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 1\/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">4 plum tomatoes, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 1\/2 cup instant brown rice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\/3 cup chopped fresh basil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One cup shredded smoked mozzarella or cheddar cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><b>Instructions<\/b><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Layer rack in the upper third of oven; preheat broiler.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dice the tops of the peppers off and remove the seeds. Set the peppers, cut side down, in a microwave-safe dis<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adjoin the water to the dish to come up 1\/2-inch in the dish.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shield the peppers with plastic wrap and microwave on 100% power for 7-10 minutes or until the peppers are just softened.
