All you need are the basic vegetables in your pantry to prepare the hash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">4 cup vegetable oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2 cups medium red potatoes, medium dice ( 4 potatoes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">4 tiny red beets, peeled and cut into medium dice (about 1 1\/2 cups)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Half medium white onion, peeled and cut into medium dice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2 medium garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kosher salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Freshly ground black pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\/2 cup finely chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Warm the oven to 450\u00b0F and arrange a rack in the middle.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pour the oil in a large cast-iron skillet and put the skillet in the oven until the oil shimmers and the pan is heated through, about 5 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Couple the potatoes, beets, onion, and garlic in a large bowl.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Mizzell generously with salt and pepper and toss to coat.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Disperse in an even layer in the hot skillet and roast in the oven until everything starts to get crispy, about 25 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Detach from the oven, stir, and return to the oven to roast until the beets and potatoes are fully cooked and browned, about 25 minutes more.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Take out the skillet from the oven and stir in the parsley.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Serve plain or with fried\/poached eggs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Nutrition Information per serving<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calories &#8211; 303<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fat- 12g<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Carbs- 37g<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sugars- 4g<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fiber -3g<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Protein- 13g<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salt -1.7g<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A pretty simple red flannel hash recipe with just a few ingredients.
