{"id":32855,"date":"2021-09-14T17:31:20","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T12:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.livofy.com\/health\/?p=32855"},"modified":"2022-09-23T14:24:15","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T08:54:15","slug":"eggs-benedict-weight-loss-livofy-customised-diet-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.livofy.com\/health\/weight-loss\/eggs-benedict-weight-loss-livofy-customised-diet-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"Eggs Benedict"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eggs Benedict is a perfect brunch recipe combining English muffins with Canadian bacon, poached eggs and smothered with hollandaise sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Giving the classic Eggs Benedict a healthy twist, here is an Eggs Benedict recipe that has the traditional Eggs Benedict sauce, called the hollandaise sauce but a low calorie one.<\/p>\n<h5>Here is the recipe for the traditional American Eggs Benedict &#8211;<\/h5>\n<p>Prep Time- 5 mins | Cook Time &#8211; 15 mins | Total Time &#8211; 20 mins | Servings &#8211; 4 |<\/p>\n<h5>Ingredients ( Eggs Benedict )-<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>4 Eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 Whole wheat English muffins<\/li>\n<li>4 Slices Canadian bacon<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Ingredients ( Low calorie hollandaise sauce ) &#8211;<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 Cup Greek yogurt<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 cup light mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of cayenne pepper<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Instructions-<\/h5>\n<h6>1. Cook the bacon &#8211;<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a medium sized skillet and keep it on low medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add the Canadian bacon and heat it, turning occasionally until both the sides of the bacon are brown.<\/li>\n<li>Use a tong to remove the bacon and keep it on a paper towel to absorb the excess fat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>2. Make the hollandaise sauce &#8211;<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Take all the ingredients for the hollandaise sauce in a small sauce pan and whisk them together.<\/li>\n<li>Keep this saucepan on a low flame.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>3. Poach the eggs &#8211;<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a large saucepan and fill 2\/3 of it with water. Bring this water to a boil.<\/li>\n<li>Add the vinegar , boil it again and\u00a0lower the heat to a bare simmer.<\/li>\n<li>Working one egg at a time, crack an egg in a small sized bowl. Thereafter, slip the egg into the barely simmering water.<\/li>\n<li>As you see this solidifying, slip in the second egg. Do the same for another 2 eggs.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the heat off and allow it to sit for 4 minutes after covering the pan.<\/li>\n<li>After 4 minutes, use a slotted spoon and gently lift the eggs.<\/li>\n<li>As the eggs are poaching in the water, Begin toasting the English muffins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>4.
