The only \u201cleaves\u201d in it are basil leaves, but the combination of fish sauce,chili garlic sauce, cucumbers, and peanuts in a lime dressing with fish sauce and tamari tastes light, lively and refreshing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">400g squid, cleaned, tentacles reserved for another use<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\u20442 Tbsp peanut or canola oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salt and black pepper to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Juice of 1 lime<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 Tbsp fish sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 Tbsp sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\u20442 Tbsp chili garlic sauce\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">4 cups arugula, or basil leaves,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One mini cucumber, peeled, seeded, and cut into matchsticks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1 medium tomato, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\u20442 red onion, very thinly sliced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1\u20444 cup roasted peanuts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Preheat a grill.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hurl the squid bodies with the oil, and generously season with salt and lots of black pepper.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When the grill is hot, pour the squid and grill for about 5 minutes, until lightly charred all over.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Take the lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, and chili sauce in a mixing bowl and whisk to blend.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Slice the grilled squid into 1\u20442&#8243; rings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a salad bowl, toss the squid, basil leaves, cucumber, tomato, onion, and peanuts with the dressing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Divide the salad among 4 plates.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Nutritional Information per serving :<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calories- 240<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fat- 15g<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Carbs- 10g<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Protein- 19g<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Notes!<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The simple dressing can be a basic blend of mustard, balsamic vinegar and good olive oil, but a little garlic and basil round out the flavor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You could also hurl in grated cheddar or Monterey Jack, or crumbled blue cheese; or add pine nuts or toasted almonds; you could even use, as our friend did, sun-dried cranberries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An amazing leafless grilled salad recipe!
