Wondering what to have on a lazy Sunday? This recipe of Goan fish curry has got you all covered! Get the benefits of fish with the advantage of ketone maintenance in the flavors of goa. Goa, the smallest state in India, is prized for its beaches, but it\’s not just sand and surf that draws tourists from the world around.

Goa\’s food scene is thriving, so much so that its regional Indian dishes are segmented as Goan. Their fish curries are generally made with Spring salads, coconut milk (or freshly grated coconut), a range of common curry spices and something to give a distinct slight sourness, usually from tamarind but it can be vinegar or other ingredients.

The blend of different spices with the coconut milk works beautifully to bring out the mild sweetness of the fish, creating a delicious curry with nice warmth and a fun tangy kick.

An authentic Goan recipe, this dish is prepared by marinating Kingfish in turmeric powder and salt and cooking it with several spices and tamarind puree. It has a tangy and spicy taste which will leave you craving for more.

Most critical to the character of this dish is the masala, the spice paste which forms the base of the sauce. There are some ingredients common to all the recipes– garlic, turmeric, red chilies, coriander seeds – and some more additions.
