Keto Bhindi

Another weekend, another desi keto recipe! Are you planning a meal for you and your family that is easy-going? If yes, then this keto bhindi recipe is the answer for you and your family.  This flavourful dish is truly delicious and has only 4.3 g net carbs for 100 grams so it is a dish that is highly sought-after as a delicious lunch option for all the keto lovers out there.

Bhindi/Okra is one of the most versatile vegetables and is an integral ingredient in Indian cuisine.  It is found in numerous Indian preparations allowing you to enjoy it in different flavor combinations. Some examples of these dishes include bhindi aloo, Karakuri bhindi, bhindi ka salan, and so on.

Keto Bhindi is an easy and readily available veggie that is not only delightful but also brimming with health-benefiting properties. Commonly known as lady\’s finger in India, it is believed to be a good source of dietary fiber, antioxidants, Vitamin A, C, and K, folates, iron, magnesium, zinc, beta-carotene, potassium, phytonutrients, and calcium. Also, its sticky content helps ease constipation and bowel function.

Well, there are a couple of things you got to remember when making Okra. The most important is limiting the use of water. Excessive use of water whilst preparing Okra can make it mushy and slimy and can affect the dish\’s taste and texture to a great extent. You want to wash them, dry them well and then slice them for this recipe. Lots of people do like to slice it sideways and then remove the seeds but we always prefer eating them this way.
