Content Coordinator from Dubai 5 Kgs in just 1 Month!

“Losing weight is a mind game. Change your mind. Change your body.”

Induja Menon is a 26-years-old E-commerce Content Coordinator from Dubai. She reached out to us for a Personalized Diet about a month ago.

It’s worth remembering her transformation journey with us! Though she was diagnosed with PCOS, she reached us out and the rewards of her healthy behaviors and healthy lifestyle changes that she incorporated in her life made her lose 5kgs in just 1 month.

Her Lifestyle

Being an E-commerce content creator she was always busy with her daily work schedule. While working so hard she barely got time to look after her health and fitness!

E-commerce content creator is the person responsible for helping to keep products moving on an e-commerce website is called the content manager. Content managers work on all sizes of eCommerce sites. They produce copy to keep site visitors engaged and, most importantly, buying. You know the drill, and leading a busy life, Induja could hardly make room for maintaining a Workout Regime and keeping up with her Fitness.
She started to read about various things which could help her fix her three main concerns- Weight Loss, PCOS, and Fitness. That’s when she came to know about Livofy and how we help women suffering from PCOS/PCOD and other weight gain problems.
Her Medical Background
Induja was diagnosed with PCOS some time back which is the most common endocrine syndrome affecting women of reproductive age and is associated with obesity, hyperinsulinemia, and insulin resistance. She is Pre-Diabetic as well. It starts occurring when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin to function properly or the body’s cells don’t react to insulin.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition that affects a woman’s hormone levels. Women with PCOS produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones. This hormone imbalance causes their body to skip menstrual periods and makes it harder for them to get pregnant. PCOS also causes hair growth on the face and body and baldness. And it can contribute to long-term health problems like diabetes and heart disease. Doctors believe PCOS stems from factors such as genes, insulin resistance, and higher levels of inflammation in the body. PCOS can disrupt the menstrual cycle, leading to fewer periods. Acne, hair growth, weight gain, and dark skin patches are other symptoms of the condition.

Pre Diabetic is a condition in which blood sugar is high, but not high enough to be type 2 diabetes. Without intervention, it’s likely to become type 2 diabetes within 10 years.  Many people with prediabetes have no symptoms. Progression from prediabetes to type 2 diabetes isn’t inevitable. With lifestyle changes, weight loss, and medication, it’s possible to bring a blood sugar level back to normal.
The AfterMath

Induja came across the concept of Diet for PCOS. She got fascinated with the kind of results that people were getting out of it. She saw it as a sign and approached us for a plan that could help serve her agenda. Induja hasn’t looked back since then!

After having to do some research on her own, she got to know that PCOS Diet could be an amazing way to shed those kilos down for good, could manage PCOS, and reverse her Pre-Diabetes too. Hence she wanted to adopt the Diet Lifestyle and started her journey with us.

She has been extremely strict and diligent with her diet, never cheated, and always made sure to stay on track.  She has shown utmost importance to her diet and fitness and that has made her become a fitter and healthier version of herself altogether. Any diet that helps you lose weight can help your condition. However, some diets may have advantages over others. Studies comparing diets for PCOS have found that low carbohydrate diets are effective for both weight loss and lowering insulin levels. A low glycemic index (low GI) diet that gets most carbohydrates from fruits, vegetables, and whole grains helps regulate the menstrual cycle better than a regular weight loss diet.

She now focused on low-calorie, nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Induja avoided saturated fat and limited sweets and alcohol. Eat three regular meals a day with limited snacking.  She still enjoyed small amounts of high-fat, high-calorie foods as an infrequent treat. She was sure to choose foods that promote a healthy weight and good health most of the time.

Results

Soon Induja started to see and feel a visible difference in herself.  The results that she has gotten out of it are just astonishing! If we keep aside the Weigh Loss and the numbers, the kind of Inch loss she has achieved is just fantastic! The agenda that she has is not moving the scale but was pure fat loss and she has achieved it successfully. She has been extremely diligent with the Diet and the kind of results she has shown are just brilliant!

Just like all our other clients, Induja was happy & grateful towards us as she now found a healthier and happier version of herself over here. It makes us super happy to share that she has successfully lost 5 kgs in just 1 month of doing the Diet with us, along with a massive inch loss which is very much visible and we are so amazed to see this!

“A huge part of losing weight is believing you can do it and realizing it’s not going to happen overnight.”

Eat for the body you want, not for the body you have. It is always easy to stuff food into your mouth, but harder to burn calories by exercising. The rule of thumb is, if you have a belly, it is time to lose weight by exercising and reduce the amount of food you eat. Not only do you look better with an average body, but you will also live happier. I hope Induja’s transformation story will motivate you to achieve your goals.

Your body will be around a lot longer than that expensive handbag. Invest in yourself.
