It’s incredibly inspiring to know that our client who is a US-based Engineer lost 15kgs in just 3 months. His fitness and the life-changing journey started when he reached out about 3 months ago.
Being an engineer, he was always so caught up with his work that he didn’t even get time to take a proper meal and he always ended up eating high carb meals leading to an increase in his weight.
He was suffering from obesity for some time now. Due to his busy schedule, he never got time to work for his health and fitness. He was 92 kgs when he reached out.
His Medical background
Obesity is a complex disease involving an excessive amount of body fat. It is a medical problem that increases your risk of other diseases and health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain cancers.
The genes you inherit from your parents may affect the amount of body fat you store, and where that fat is distributed. It can also be caused due to unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Obesity can occur at any age, even in young children. But as you age, hormonal changes and a less active lifestyle increase your risk of obesity. In addition, the amount of muscle in your body tends to decrease with age. Generally, lower muscle mass leads to a decrease in metabolism.
Dhruv realized that obesity/weight loss can diminish his overall quality of life. He may not be able to do things you used to do, such as participating in enjoyable activities. He may avoid public places.
For a really long time, he was searching for a diet that could help him incorporate healthy changes into his lifestyle and he also wanted to become a fitter version of himself.
When a friend of his saw extremely good results with us and hence recommended him to get started on his fitness journey with us, he decided to reach out to us.
This is when Dhruv started to find a fitter and healthier version of himself!
He now focused on low-calorie, nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. He Avoided saturated fat and limited sweets and alcohol. Eat three regular meals a day with limited snacking.
He still enjoyed small amounts of high-fat, high-calorie foods as an infrequent treat. He was sure to choose foods that promote a healthy weight and good health most of the time.
Dhruv has not once cheated on his diet and since day 1, he has been highly diligent with following his diet. He is very strict and particular about his diet and always stayed on track, which resulted in wonders for him in such a short span of time.
He was always consistent with his diet and sticking to his healthy-weight plan during the week, on the weekends, and amidst vacation and holidays as much as possible increased his chances of long-term success.
Soon Dhruv started to see and feel a visible difference in himself. He started his weight loss transformation with Keto India at 92 kgs and within a short span of 3 months of following the weight loss diet he has been able to reduce 15 Kgs. It would have been impossible without Dhruv’s hard work and precision.

“Take it one meal at a time”
Thinking that you’re going to have to eat well all the time is overwhelming. But focusing on the here and now makes it a lot more manageable. Do your best to make this one meal the healthiest you can. Do the same at breakfast, lunch, and again at dinner, but stop worrying about that meal you’ve got planned three months down the line.
When you feel like quitting, think about why you started! This is different for everyone, but everyone has something – that little spark that made you want to take control and start losing weight. It might be wanting to be able to keep up with your kids or to decrease your chances of diseases that run in your family. You might have seen an unflattering picture of yourself or realized that it was getting harder and harder to make it to the top of the stairs without stopping for breath. When you’re struggling, think back to the moment when you thought to start it.
You may not think that small steps are worth taking, but they all add up! And that’s what we learned from Dhruv’s weight loss transformation story.
