In India, “chaat” is a word that describes more than just a couple of snacks: It’s a way of life, and a category of food that hits practically every element that makes something crave—sweet, tangy, spicy, sour and crunchy.

The origin of this word probably comes in connection to the taste and sensation of chatpata which can be best described as salty, sweet, and tangy in most savory snacks and foods. English Chaat is one of the simple tangy salad recipes, which can be prepared with vegetables, nuts and paneer (cottage cheese).

It is a super filling nutritious meal that will give your taste buds a wonderful taste. One can also serve this salad on occasions like kitty parties, picnics, or game nights. One good thing about this delectable salad recipe is that it can be prepared within a few minutes.
